This stunning original 190 E 2.6 with the M103 engine is quite a fast Taxi!
This 190 E quite a very sporty Merc to drive.
The six-cylinder engine from the S-Class turns the Mercedes 190E 2.6 into a four-door GT.
This example has been very well taken care of its whole life as you see in the beautiful clean Interieur. The 190E 2.6 also conceals its special status in the interior. Like any baby Benz, it pinches big and hefty passengers a bit at all corners. In addition, there is the familiar architecture and a much more favourable mix of materials compared to its big brothers, which makes it disappear into the mass of 190s for the untrained eye. But that didn’t bother the intended buyers at all in its day. On the contrary, those who opted for a W201 2.6 wanted powerful propulsion – without the attention that came with the spoiled 16Vs. Collectors, therefore, love the understatement of the six-cylinder 190 all the more.
The last owner retired and wanted an understatement comfortable powerful merc to cruise into his sunset of life. A stroke foiled his plans.
He wanted to have a smaller steering and fitted in a wooden Raid short before the stroke.
The original steering comes with the car.
