In August 1998, the Z3 Roadster was extended by an estate coupé (Shooting-Brake), which was presented at the IAA 1997. These closed vehicles were equipped with the familiar six-cylinder engines. They were offered under the name Z3 Coupé 2.8 (later Z3 Coupé 3.0) and M Coupé. The design of the Coupé was controversial and was commonly referred to as a “sneaker”.

Nowadays, the coupés are hard to find, even rarer as an “M” and very popular among connoisseurs.

This M Coupé was originally delivered to Japan in 1999 and, as is generally known, has been very well looked after there.
All services were carried out.

When the M Coupé returned to Germany in 2008, it was rather just put into a collection.

The current seller and 3rd owner has also placed the vehicle in his collection and moved it appropriately to prevent damage.
All service work has been carried out. He has lowered the vehicle discreetly for visual reasons. However, the original chassis is complete and in good order and is of course part of the offer. It also comes with an original set of BMW winter wheels, which were not used. Even if the car has been driven in winter, there is no evidence of any winter damage.

The interior bears witness to the low mileage of 34,000 km. Nothing is worn or broken and it is in great original condition.
Unfortunately, the original BMW radio did not come with the car to Germany, which is why the owner installed a modern one in order to have cell phone communication. The radio was installed in a non-destructive manner so that the original radio can be retrofitted at any time.

The paintwork is beautiful and indicates that it has been washed by hand. The measurement of the paint thickness is between 85 and 135, which is why we assume a perfect first coat.

The engine start when cold is flawless and the M3.2 S50 B32 engine with 321 hp purrs powerfully and is ready to jump.

The overall impression is great and this M Coupé is a great sports car.
