The idea came from Gianni Agnelli, Fiat’s Chairman, who wanted to develop a car that could serve as a tender to his boat;

He needed something to move around trendy Mediterranean ports not only in comfort but in style.

Out of the very rare breed of Fiat Spiagginas, this one is even more special.

This FIAT 500 Giardiniera was bought in 1967 and converted by a specialist in Lignano Sabbiadoro on the Adriatic Coast near Venice.

Only 7 of these spiagginas were converted in period. As far as the research from the previous owner went, only 3 of them are still in existence. The current owner bought the Jolly 10 years ago and used it only in the summertime Mainly for short Trips to the beach or to buy “Gelatti”. The Car is painted in its original color and still has its original seats. The Car has been very well maintained and no rust can be detected on the Car.

The Odometer reads 26.000 km, which is not correct. The Cable broke so no km were added until it was fixed. The Car ran for about 34.000 km in total.

The Fiat Jolly has original Italian number plates. The Car has no damages at all. There was only one dent in the hood. It was fixed by the current owner but not repainted to keep the original paint.

This Fiat 500 Giardiniera is rarer than the common Fiat 500 or 600.

This FIAT 500 Giardiniera benefits from a recent maintenance restoration, addressing mechanical parts of the car.

The Car is featured with a ‘candy stripe’ top in light blue and white. The interior wicker seats are still original and very well kept.
