The company was founded in 1938, by Giuseppe Coriasco, to carry out conversions of production vehicles – as was the great fashion at the time – to obtain the famous Italian “fuori serie” bodies, but not only for passenger cars, but rather for commercial vehicles.
The business was mainly focused on converting commercial vehicles for use by ambulance dealers. It was the Fiat 600 Multipla, aka Fiat 600 M Coriasco, that established the brand’s reputation in 1956, with more than 18,000 examples produced between 1956 and 1962.
Until the end of the company in 1986, Carrozzeria Coriasco carried out numerous more or less extensive conversions on many models. Sometimes these were one-offs at the request of a private individual or a dealer, but often they were special models produced in small series, distributed directly via the Fiat network.
This offered 900 T Carrozzeria Coriasco comes with italian papers.
The over all impression shows a good condition. You see spots of usage but nothing is rotten or destroyed. The paint is still shiny and had been probably repainted in good quality as for a transporter. Facing the fact that this transporter had been working his whole life it is still alive, though the japanes micro vans spammed that market segment in the 80ies.
The last years this 900 T spent in a collection, got maintained and is ready to go, except those typical diseases from standing.
Watching the interieur you see it has been well taken care of but the 15.000km on the speedometer will probably be 115.000km.
