Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce

When Alfa Romeo announced a two-litre engine in June 1971 for the “Bertone”, expectations were high. And the innovation did not disappoint. The GTV became even better and a 200 km/h sports coupé.

This 1974 Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce was originally delivered to Athens, Greece on 31st of October 1973. It stayed in the same family for over 40 years. The family always kept it in a closed garage and took very well care of the maintenance.

It was first registered on the 16th of January in 1974. It was delivered in the beautiful colour combination of Dutch Blue and Beige Sabacuoio naturale.

It was ordered with the extra`s of Tinted glass, Campagnolo Campanatura (Turbina) alloy wheels, full stainless steel exhaust.

The GTV never saw an accident and no modifications were made making this a very pure and original example of the Iconic Alfa.
When it was purchased by the second owner in February 2014 he started to bring it back to its former glory, trying to preserve the originality. Most of the work done was at an Alfa Romeo specialist.

The Suspension was completely overhauled. On the outside, it had a respray in the original colour of AR343 Blu Olandese ( Dutch Blue). The Interior was reupholstered to original specs in Beige Sabacuoio Naturale TEX Alfa

The engine and gearbox needed no repair as they were in excellent working order.

Regarding to the seller the Alfa Romeo feels and drives like new.
