The Carrozzeria Francis Lombardi was founded in 1947 in Vercelli, Italy, by the noted world war 2 pilot Carlo “Francis” Lombardi. They originally engaged in some aeronautical design, but this soon ended. Their most famous car was the Lombardi Grand Prix, which was also marketed under a variety of other names such as O.T.A.S. and Abarth. The company had to close in 1973.

Lombardi’s greatest commercial success was with the luxuriously appointed Fiat 500 called “my car”. He started in the late fifties with about 1.500 units a year up to 6.000 units during the sixties.

This Car is an interpretation of how the famous Jolly Version of the normal 500 would have looked like with the MyCar as a base. This video gives you an impression of that beautiful car:

This is a original 1968 Francis Lombardi “my car” in azzuro blu. It was fully restored by the current seller. It has all EU papers and is registered in the EU. The engine was fully rebuilt and increased to 29 horsepower. The engine starts right up and runs smooth. The chrome looks perfect and the rails are solid. All axles and brakes work just fine. This is your chance to bid on this rare interpretation of the famous Beach Cars.
