This offered Mercedes coupé was bought from the first owner with original 22.000 miles 15 years ago in Georgia in the United States. He had placed this couoé in his “art gallery”.
The now selling second owner could hardly believe that this is such an original time capsule.
Official Mercedes Benz specialists checked the car completeley and all came to the same conclusion:
The car is a proven low mileage car with an original, unwelded chassis. And yes, it is a complete matching numbers and matching colours car; exactly how it left the factory back then.
In the beginning of 2022 the car underwent a carefull refreshment at official Mercedes specialists.
The engine was taken out to work on it, and all wear parts of the chassis, steering, brakes, etc. were renewed with original parts.
The complete original interieur was just overhauled, but not renewed to keep it`s patina, and still is in brilliant condition.
The paint was showing some dents and scratches over the years, so the now selling owner decided to repaint it. Therefor the car was stripped down to the bone.
The paintjob was a very high class job without paying attention to the cost. The original chrome parts were chrome plated again.
This beautifull coupé appears like new with an authentic patina and leaves no questions.
