The legend was born in 1959…
…and it is small: it is MINI.

The full new concept astonished the world.
The Mini was the first car with a transversely mounted four-stroke inline four-cylinder engine and the transmission case served as an oil pan, bolted directly to the engine from below, sharing the engine oil with the engine.
Unlike other passenger cars, the Mini had a suspension with conical rubber blocks instead of steel springs, which was very hard, but the Mini had road holding that was hard to beat at the time.
Famous racers like Niki Lauda reaped his first motorsport laurels in MINIs.
Even today Minis line up at the start of races because of their favourable power-to-weight ratio.

This Mini Morris 850 is from 1968 and was first registered in Hungary in 1968. Sept. the 6th.

It was recently restored by a professional workshop in Hungary and shows up shiny and professional.

To achieve an excellent condition the workshop spent up to 8.000€ on Mini genuine parts, which is proven on bills.
So this small jewellery box has been 100% refurbished with factory parts. The engine and the manual 4-speed gearbox, brakes and axles had been overhauled.

The current owner bought the car in 2009 and it was kept only in the garage and was fully restored to its original condition with a current mileage after the restoration of 7.200 km.
He used it as a hobby car and loved it as a family member.

At the moment the MINI is registered in Hungary with Hungarian documents and a valid technical inspection until 07.2022 and is exactly located in Budapest.

The owner will assist with cost efficient shipment throughout Europe.
That means the delivery up to Munich would be included in the auction.
