Porsche 911 SC
In 1978, the versatile model range of the 911 was streamlined: the Carrera was dropped and the 911 was only available as the SC and Turbo.
The 911 SC had the wide body of the Carrera and a three-liter engine with 188 hp with mechanical K-Jetronic.
Fortunately, management’s plans to phase out the 911 in 1981 and continue only with the modern, water-cooled, front-engine 924, 944 and 928 cars, were dropped when CEO Ernst Fuhrmann was replaced by Peter W. Schutz at the end of 1980.
Thus, to this day, every curve remains a pleasure for the 911 fans:
This 911 was grey market imported in 1980. It was bought in Essen Germany and now has the same owner since 20+ years.
The Porsche came to Virginia (the southeastern United States, no snow, no salt on the roads) and stayed there all his Life. See the under-car photos.
The seller specifically points out that this is not a US specification car, it has the higher compression Euro spec. Engine.
The previous Owner Serviced the Car on a Regular Basis.
