The “Fuchs” rim
It is an alloy wheel forged from aluminum.
The first Fuchs rims were produced for the Porsche 911, which appeared in 1963.
Otto Fuchs KG thus achieved “a weight saving of almost 50 percent compared to standard steel wheels.”
At the beginning of the 1960s, this was a revolution in automotive development and played into Porsche`s philosophy. From the beginning of its era, Porsche paid attention to optimization in terms of power-to-weight ratio and was always looking for ways to reduce the weight of its vehicles.
These offered Fuchs rims for Porsche with the Porsche bolt circle are restored and ready to mount.
