Renault Motorsport Spider
1493 Renault Sport Spider vehicles was originally designed as a Cup Spider for racing.
Renault recommended wearing a helmet to protect against insects and stone chips while driving.
The futuristic body, with scissor doors that swing open upward, has no windshield in the original design; instead, it is shaped to deflect the approaching airstream over the occupants.
The engine is a mid-engine mounted transversely in the aluminum frame and produces 108 kW (147 hp) from a displacement of 2.0 liters.
Thanks to the individually suspended wheels and horizontal suspension struts, the designers were able to achieve an extremely low center of gravity.
Due to the GRP outer skin, a lot of weight was saved, which enables the clear driving pleasure through the performance and agility of the Spider.

This offered Renault Spider left the factory in June 1997 and was first registered in 2004 after 7 years standing in a collection.
It appears in well taken care of and maintained condition. The now selling owner is a Renault Dealer who used it for show.
Watching the all over impression you see a little scratch on the front spoiler and the original realights had been replaced to LEDs. The original rear lights are of course with the car.
Starting the engine you hear the “Renault Sport” sound and you can hear the sound of motorsport.
Driving this Spider is pure pleasure. The engine runs powerfull and the gearbox and brakes do their precisely job.
