1303 convertible from 1978 with 2 litre Willibald Type 4 and top history.
Built/converted from 1985-87. Until recently in the hands of the builder who gave it up for reasons of age.
Exactly the right vehicle for someone who is looking for a user-friendly, low-maintenance, stable and reliable beetle convertible with sufficient power and torque.
Rebuilt in the 80s, this beetle was equipped with everything that was good and expensive at the time.
Starting with the 2000ccm Type 4 engine with Porsche fan (approx. 100PS) and K-Jetronik injection system of the Golf GTI, through Kerscher fenders and ATS rims, only the best parts came into consideration.
The previous owner worked all his life as a mechanic for a VW dealership and is a specialist for air-cooled vehicles. Nothing was left untouched when building his own convertible.
This chic convertible has only been used on perfect days in the last 34 years and was always garaged.
Accordingly, the condition and preservation are very good.
Of course, there are minor signs of use that can never be avoided.
We only changed a few details and gave the car a fresh TÜV and an H approval so that the 1303 beetle is immediately ready for registration and use.
A cool driving machine (also for long distances) with an extreme cool factor at a very reasonable price.
Optionally, there is a matching pair of CIBIE Oskar lights, a white glass fibre dashboard with Porsche instruments, and a roll bar for the vehicle at additional costs.
