This Audi 200 C2 was purchased from VW in Berlin by the 1st owner. When the owner passed away the car stayed in a garage for almost 2 decades until it was discovered by a VW collector and brought back to life with much love.
In the Fzg.-Brief the VW dealership and the 1st owner are registered. After that the car was never registered again. The 1st owner always brought the car to VW for inspection. In addition to many interesting documents such as service booklet, manual, etc., there is a folder in which the whole car life is documented with receipts. Even the order, invoice and receipt from the purchase are there.

The car was technically reanimated for the Tüv by the now selling VW collector and is ready for use.
For this, the brakes were checked, welding work was done, the timing belt including water pump, the fuel pump and the spark plugs were renewed and of course an oil service was done.
Very well preserved tires with the DOT of 2017 were also mounted. The fuel pump relay was aktuel bypassed, but the new is ordered and will then be installed.
If we look at the underbody, no Tüv-relevant rusting is visible. The tie rods, steering, control arms show no play and the rubber bearings show no cracks.
The engine starts immediately and the automatic shifts quickly.
The interior is authentic and very well maintained. There are even the 2 lumbar supports on the back seat still original, which were an extra at the time. The electric antenna works perfectly and the original radio plays the music clearly, for that time, with remarkably great surround sound.
The paint shows here and there clear repainting, but which are documented in the aforementioned folder. The paint image is basically good, but not as nice as the original paint.
Technically, the car can go immediately. The seller will gladly assist, upon acquisition, with the Tüvdurchführung and obtaining the H license plate.
