BMW E21 320/4 automatic

This 1976 rare 320/4 cylinder is offered by the current 5th owner. It is now with the 5th owner and stayed his entire life in Bavaria, where it was first delivered.
The vehicle is original and in unwelded condition. It is one of the few first series 4cyl. 2.0ltr. 320!
At the end of 1976 BMW changed their production and replaced the 4cyl. engines with 6cyl. engines having 2.0 ltr. displacement. These 6 cylinder engines were unfortunately not as “spritzig” anymore and also more susceptible than the 4 cylinders. That makes that 4cyl. 320s rarer and more desirable.
Despite partial light surface rust, no rust through is visible. The BMW still wears its first paint. This non smoking car even comes with electrical outside mirrors and a factory equipped Webasto lifting roof! The automatic shifts soft and works fine which makes this BMW a perfect classic cruiser.

Of course, there are traces of use and the overall condition for that age is quite good. Even the original windshield is still installed with the original driver’s advice sticker on the inside! The original vehicle registration document is also present. The vehicle has a “historic” license plate and is listed as a classic car. The interior is in very good overall condition. Nothing cracked. The cockpit also has no deformation and no cracks. The car was rarely exposed to UV radiation. Today the car shows up on original BMW BBS rims from the E30. The original steel rims are included with the car and are in good condition. The ALPINA reflector between the rear lights is in good condition with signs of age and we don`t know who put it there, but the original black cover is with the car. We regret it, but this is no ALPINA.
The TÜV ends this summer, but the seller checked the car and offers to get the new TÜV after your winning bid.

In the last years a lot of parts have been replaced, among others as follows:
– Brake discs, disc brake, blocks, brake calliper front left and right, brake rear complete, wheel brake cylinder, fuel pump, reverse switch, temperature switch, fluids, etc. at a mileage of 62015 Km.
– Rear silencer with mounting kit, wrinkle lining (steering damper), tie rod joints at a mileage of 73980 Km.
All is documented by invoices.
The vehicle has been registered exclusively in Bavaria since delivery.
