The 300 SEb is a rear wheel saloon (sedan) road car with a front located engine, manufactured by Mercedes-Benz. It was designed by the famous french designer Paul Bracq. The 300 SEb is part of Mercedes-Benz’s W 108 IV series. Its 6 cylinder, single overhead camshaft naturally aspirated engine has 2 valves per cylinder and a volume of 3 litres. It produces power and torque figures of 168 bhp (170 PS/125 kW) at 5400 rpm and 249 Nm (184 lbft/25.4 kgm) at 4000 rpm respectively. The engine supplies its power through to the wheels via a 4 speed automatik transmission. Claimed kerb weight is 1560 kg. It is claimed to achieve a top speed of 190 km/h, or 118 mph.

The current owner bought this Mercedes 300 SEb in the summer of 2020. It was a great wish of his heart to own this car, which he thus fulfilled.

As soon as the weather was nice and the sun was shining, they like to go for little joyrides with our “Dayi” (that’s his nickname, which he got from my daughter and means uncle, so he is part of our family).

The car has also been allowed to take very good friends to the altar at weddings.

Now, however, he has found that with children, work and family, he lacks the necessary time to fully enjoy the car.

The car has been restored by the previous and current owner so that it drives safely and smoothly.

The following parts have been changed or been restored
1. various rubber bearings
2. new brakes: brake discs, brake callipers, brake pads, brake master cylinder, brake hoses + reservoir,
3. wheel hub, wheel bearing
4. fuel tank
5. power steering
6. fuel pump + hoses
7. steering: transverse steering outside, above, below complete, steering damper, steering rod
8. threaded bushes new
9. underbody steam-blasted
10. new muffler

The car was partially painted by the previous owner.
