This is a Porsche 356 B T5 Reuter Coupe, the car is a road-legal racing vehicle with an H license plate.
The first delivery of the Porsche 356 took place in Wiesbaden in 1961.
In the 90s the car was converted into a racing car and was competing in the Carrera Panamericana in Mexico in 1999.
This Video is from another Yellow 356 but gives you an Idea of the Carrera Panamericana
This is where the current design comes from, which was originally painted on the car and was later restored as stickers.
The Carrera Panamericana could not be finished due to engine failure and subsequently came to the current owner.
The car was converted into a racing car without compromise (invoices available) and the engine was rebuilt at Porsche Knebel in Siegen. With a curb weight of around 900 kg and an engine output of around 130 hp, as well as stable brakes (drum brakes according to the original specification), it is in a “Ready to Race” condition.
One of the special features of the car is that it is completely rust-free, sealed and not welded (e.g. no welded parts in the underbody).
After a few appearances in the Historic Endurance Cup FHR (https://fhr-race.de/) and the OGP (https://oldtimergrandprix.com/), the body was revised again and additionally stiffened.
The car is characterized by its technical stability and has already proven itself in racing.
Deployments at racing events such as OGP or FHR, as well as Kitzbühler Alpenrally (https://alpenrallye.at/) are possible at any time, and the car is a welcome participant due to its unusual appearance.
