This E24 635 CSi left the factory as the original “M635 CSi” and was first delivered in Germany. Therefore, it is also one of the coveted M models without catalytic converter with the highest engine rating of 286 hp.
This M635 CSi was completely repainted in 2021 at a BMW specialist store. However, it was not simply repainted, but freed from the first paint. The paint thickness measurement is therefore on average between 100 and the end of 200. During the disassembly in 2021, it was noticeable that this 635 was always technically and visually well maintained. Except for really minor welding, the body was free of rust through.
Also the whole chassis, axles, brakes, exhaust, etc. were revised in the course. The pictures from below show the excellent condition of all rubbers, selente, hardey disc, axle, suspensions, etc..
The engine and transmission do not even show signs of sweating.
The engine starts immediately and runs smoothly, according to the M1 engine.
The transmission shifts cleanly and does its job precisely.
This M635 CSi already got an original, new M 635CSi exchange engine and also an original new transmission about 90.000km ago.
The interior is in original and really good condition. The thick leather of the seats shows signs of use, but no damage.
The electrical system works perfectly.
At 111,000 km the speedometer was replaced due to a defect. However, this procedure is documented and proven in the folder with various invoice from a workshop.
The servicebook shows almost every needed stamp, and the original toolkit, jack, radio-code-card and a lot original paperwork are still with the car.
The overall impression shows a technically flawless car which was built with experience and attention to detail.
Before the handover, the buyer gets a “fresh” Tüv and a current H license plate.
